2018 is an EPIC year for me and the Ride to Conquer Cancer.  It celebrates a few milestones.  The first being that it’s been 10 years since my daughter was told that she was now “cancer free”.  This year is also the 5th ride in a row that I have taken part in, and I  will be honest in saying that ride number 4 almost did not happen for me.  It was a long summer with little riding, my fundraising wasn’t going as planned, and I felt that I didn’t have the energy to take part in the ride.  But luckily I snapped out of that thinking and with some help with family and true friends I was able to come up with my fundraising amount and take part on the ride.  And I’m so glad that I did!!!

The last milestone is for the ride itself.  10 years strong this year and with that a change in route.  I look forward to the new direction that the ride is going to go and I’m ready to take part in my “golden helmet” year.

Last year we created a corporate team.  Team “Discovery Vacation Rentals” and proudly rode the route in our custom jerseys.  This year we will be doing the same.  Come out and join us in the ride, watch from the side and most importantly please support us in our fundraising efforts.  Without your financial help we could not ride and could not support this great cause.
